11/1 for British Champions League winner

Sky Bet go 11/1 for one of the three remaining British clubs to win the Champions League after they were all handed tough opponents in the final 16.

Manchester United are the main drifters in the betting after being paired with second favourites Real Madrid, prompting their price to go out from 10/1 to 14/1.

Like United, Arsenal are also odds-against to make the quarter-finals as they face Bayern Munich, and have been pushed out from 25/1 to 33/1 consequently.

Celtic, who will face Juventus, are now the longest price of any sides left in the competition at 125/1, having been 100/1 before the draw.

Sky Bet’s Chris Spicer told Football Betting News: “In drawing Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, the two Premier League sides have been handed the pre-draw second a third favourites, so things could not have gone much worse.

“All three British sides are outsiders to make the quarter-finals now and we go 7/5 that none of them will progress.”
