AVB favourite for next Premier League exit

Andre Villas-Boas is now the favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post with his Tottenham side continually struggling to find any kind of consistency in their performance.

The Portuguese lost his star asset in Gareth Bale in the summer but reinvested heavily and plenty was expected of his Spurs side but after four defeats in their first 12 games any chance of a title challenge can be forgotten and that is why AVB is a best price of just 7/4 with Coral to be the next boss out of a job.

His side’s 2-0 win away to Tromso in the Europa League on Thursday will at least have bought him some breathing space but the 6-0 thrashing at Manchester City last Sunday is still fresh in the memory and is why Villas-Boas finds himself in this position. Spurs host Manchester United this Sunday and another poor result could spell the end for the former Porto tactician.

Next in line in the betting is Fulham’s Martin Jol who is a best price for the next chop of 15/8 with Sky Bet. The Cottagers take on West Ham at the weekend and then meet Spurs on Wednesday with the result of that match potentially proving crucial for both managers.
