Bayern and Barca 7/2 to meet in final
After powering to wins over two of the Premier League’s finest this week, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are now just 7/2 to meet in the final of the Champions League this season.
Barca faced the difficult task of going away to Manchester City on Tuesday night but, thanks to some reckless defending and a red card from Martin Demichelis, they came away with a 2-0 win and appear to have one foot in the quarter-finals.
Similarly Bayern cashed in when Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny was dismissed at The Emirates on Wednesday and the defending champions ran out 2-0 winners.
After such impressive performances, the German and Spanish champions are favourites to reach the final of the Champions League and can be backed to do so at 7/2 with Bet Victor.
Kept apart in the draw and that seems an excellent price but with the quarter and semi finals still to be played, the two teams could meet each other long before the final in Lisbon at the end of May.
Bayern are favourites to win the tournament at a best price of 2/1 with Sky Bet and Barca are just behind them at 15/4 with Bwin. The only other team seen by the bookies to have a good chance of gatecrashing the party is Real Madrid who are available at 5/1 with Paddy Power to lift the trophy.
Los Meringues are yet to start their last 16 tie but are heavily odds-on to prosper against German side Schalke.
