Beckham 12/1 to manage his MLS team
David Beckham has been made a best price of 12/1 to manage his own MLS franchise when he finally sets up the team, expected to be based in Miami, Florida.
The proposed side that Beckham will own is still some way off bursting into life and although he has made no intimation that he will manage the side Coral have made him the 12/1 favourite to do just that.
Becks did suggest that he had considered asking the recently retired Sir Alex Ferguson to manage the team but has reconsidered in light of Ferguson’s recent autobiography and now the Scot is 50/1 to manage the, as yet non-existent, team.
The other potential candidates for the role according to Coral are all former or current Manchester United players with Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs all available at 16/1.
In another interesting market, for any of David’s sons; Brooklyn, Romeo or Cruz to turn out for their Dad’s team in a league or cup match is at 4/1 again with Coral.
