Bendtner still 7/4 to stay at Arsenal

After getting the backing of his manager Arsene Wenger to play an important part in Arsenal’s season Nicklas Bendtner may prove to be a very tempting price of 7/4 not to leave Arsenal during the January transfer window.

The Dane somewhat surprisingly started for the Gunners against Hull at the Emirates on Wednesday night and immediately repaid Wenger’s faith in him by scoring after two minutes to put his side ahead. It is the first time he has scored in the Premier League for the North London club for nearly three years.

Before that goal it looked like Bendtner was almost certainly set to leave the Emirates in January which is why Coral offered just 2/5 on him exiting the club in the next transfer window. Now things may have changed though and the 7/4 from Coral now looks outstanding value.

The Gunners are expected to invest in January but as yet it is not clear in whom. One name they are favourites to sign is German attacking midfielder Julian Draxler who is just 3/1 with Sky Bet to join the Gunners.
