Berbatov just 6/4 to join Arsenal
Dimitar Berbatov is now a best price of just 6/4 to move to Arsenal during the January transfer window although the shortest price remains on him to stay with current club Fulham until the end of the season.
The Bulgarian is thought to want a move away from the struggling Cottagers and the chance to play for the league leaders who have a genuine chance of lifting the title this season would be too good to turn down for the 32-year-old. The allure of The Gunners is such that Stan James can only muster the best price of 6/4 on him joining Arsene Wenger’s side this January.
Arsenal are in need of reinforcements due to injuries to their first choice striker Olivier Giroud and his back-up Nicklas Bendtner which leaves them thin on the ground up front. They have also been linked with Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa but that moves remains less likely with a best price of 6/1 with Sky Bet on him moving to North London this month.
The Berbatov deal is much more probable especially with him out of contract with Fulham at the end of the season. However, the Cottagers will be loathed to lose the man who was their top scorer last season and has struck most so far this campaign as well. That is why he remains odds-on to stay in West London at a best price of 4/9 with Ladbrokes.
