Cabaye 2/1 for January PSG switch

Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye is now a best price of just 2/1 to join French champions Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer window after making it clear a switch back to his homeland with the Parisians would greatly interest him.

The 27-year-old told beIN SPORT: "Who wouldn't want to join Paris Saint-Germain?" and having been linked with the mega-rich side in the past, this suggests a move is very much in the offing. Sky Bet are offering 2/1 on Cabaye switching to the Parc des Princes in January and that could prove a very shrewd bet at this stage.

Newcastle have stood firm over their star midfielder in the past though as he tried to force a move to Arsenal in the summer and the Magpies refused. The Gunners are not expected to renew their interest in the France international and are out at a best price of 16/1 with Bet Victor to sign him in January.

Manchester City are second to PSG in the odds at a best price of 12/1 with Bet Victor although given the  gulf between their prices it seems that Laurent Blanc’s side is the only likely destination for Cabaye this January.
