Cole odds-on for Madrid move

Chelsea full-back Ashley Cole is now odds-on to leave the Blues for Real Madrid in the summer with his contract coming to an end at the close of the season.

The England defender has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge with Jose Mourinho preferring Cesar Azpilicueta at left-back. Cole is still only 33-years-old, though, and there is plenty of interest in his signature, most significantly from Real.

Current Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti worked with Cole when he was in charge of Chelsea and is keen to reunite with him. Los Merengues certainly have the financial power to tempt the former Arsenal man and as such they are just 4/5 with Bet Victor to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu.

It has been reported that the recent Copa del Rey winners are ready to offer Cole as much as £8million to sign a two-year deal in the Spanish capital.

The other major contender to sign Cole is Monaco, another club which have plenty of funds available to them. The Ligue 1 side are 5/2 with Bet Victor to make the signing in the summer.
