Everton 5/1 to crash Top Four party

Everton continued their impressive winning streak on Tuesday night with a fine win away at Newcastle, closing the gap on Arsenal in fourth place. The Toffees are now a very tempting price to crash the top four party and finish in a Champions League place.

Goals from Ross Barkley, Romelu Lukaku and Leon Osman saw Everton pick up a 3-0 win on Tyneside and with Arsenal only drawing at home to Swansea, the gap between the two is down to six points. This sounds a lot at this stage of the season but Everton still have a game in hand over their rivals (which comes at home to Crystal Palace) and welcome Arsenal to Goodison Park on April 6th.

If Roberto Martinez can mastermind a victory over Arsene Wenger in that game then Everton will likely move ahead of Arsenal and their current best price to finish in the top four of 5/1 with Bet Victor will be cut dramatically.

The Gunners remain odds-on favourites to hang onto fourth spot at a best price of just 1/4 with Sky Bet. However, they are not at their best and with Manchester City visiting North London on Saturday they could be set for more pain to come. No one will be putting their mortgage on the Gunners remaining in fourth spot at this stage.
