Fulham now favourites to sign Parker

After reports suggested that Scott Parker was just hours away from completing a move from Tottenham Hotspur to QPR, it seems that Fulham have hijacked the deal as they have become the odds-on favourite to sign the England international.

It appeared that a £3.5million deal had been struck between Spurs and Harry Redknapp’s Championship side but it is now Fulham that are a best price of 4/6 with Bet Victor to be the next port of call for the 32-year-old.

Clearly Rangers are not yet out of the running with their best price on completing the deal being 6/4 with Sky Bet and Redknapp will be set on getting his man, however he is clearly at a serious disadvantage with Fulham competing in the Premier League and Parker wanting a return to the England side ahead of next year’s World Cup.

Fulham have also become the odds-on favourites to sign Blackburn defender Scott Dann who is now 4/6 with Bet Victor to join the Cottagers this month. The central defensive department at Craven Cottage is something of an ageing group including Brede Hangeland, Aaron Hughes and Philippe Senderos and Martin Jol may want it bolstering.
