Giggs odds-on to play next season

With Ryan Giggs continuing to play a big part in Manchester United’s midfield at the age of 40, Paddy Power are offering special markets on just how long the Welsh legend will keep playing for the reigning Premier League champions.

Having played seven times in the league and four times in Europe already this season Giggs is obviously still contributing and has made no noises about retiring as yet. This is why the Irish bookmakers are happy to offer a best price of 4/9 on him playing a Premier League game during the 2014/15 season when he will turn 41-years-old.

If you do not think the Welshman will continue past the summer then Paddy Power are offering 13/8 on him not appearing in the Premier League next season.

Giggs has set himself the target of reaching 1000 appearances for the Red Devils but this looks like an unlikely aim to achieve. He is currently on 935 as Paddy Power only include Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Champions League and Europa League in the reckoning. With such a long way to go to reach the four-figure milestone you can back him at 7/1 to achieve it.
