Laudrup favourite to go next
Michael Laudrup has been backed into 11/10 favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job, despite claiming he plans to stay at Swansea.
The Dane has distanced himself from a row between his agent Bayram Tutumlu and Swans chairman Huw Jenkins, suggesting their relationship breakdown will not affect his position.
Punters aren’t convinced the matter is done and dusted, though, with Sky Bet customers backing the Swansea manager in from 13/8 to be the Premier League’s next managerial casualty.
Sky Bet’s Chris Spicer explained to Football Betting News: “After his heroics in his debut campaign last season, Laudrup has no shortage of admirers, and he’s available to back in our markets for the next manager of PSG (2/1), Real Madrid (18/1) and Arsenal (10/1).
“Even if he does stay, we’re predicting a tough second season for him, going 33/1 that Swansea retain the League Cup, while 6/1 on them to be relegated is not out of the question.”
