Moses now odds-on for Liverpool switch

Liverpool have emerged as the new odds-on favourites to sign Victor Moses from Chelsea this transfer window although it seems that a loan deal is the most likely option for the Nigeria international.

The 22-year-old has been attracting interest from a host of Premier League clubs and had been odds-on to reunite with former manager Roberto Martinez at Everton but now it seems their Merseyside rivals are in the driving seat to capture his signature at a best price of 10/11 with Sky Bet.

Moses is yet to make an appearance for Chelsea since the return to the dugout of Jose Mourinho and since the arrival of Andre Schurrle, Willian and the reintroduction of Kevin de Bruyne it seems that his chances in the first team will be very few and far between indeed.

The former Wigan and Crystal Palace man is thought to be on £55,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge which Liverpool will not want to match but along with a fee of around £2million for a season-long loan then it is expected that a deal can be sorted out, especially as Mourinho and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers have a strong working relationship from their times at Chelsea previously.

Everton and West Brom are still thought to be in the hunt for Moses but at 7/1 each with Sky Bet the bookies do not fancy their chances.
