Moses odds-on to join Everton

Chelsea forward Victor Moses is rated at odds-on by Sky Bet to join Everton during the summer transfer window despite his encouraging form for his current team in pre-season.

The Nigeria international joined Chelsea from Wigan in the summer of 2012 for £9 million and although he has struggled to hold down a regular starting place at Stamford Bridge he has gone on to make 43 appearances and scored 10 goals.

Many expected the 22-year-old to be surplus to requirements following the arrival of Jose Mourinho as manager in West London but he has been in goal-scoring form in pre-season and has impressed the Portuguese.

Mourinho said of the former Crystal Palace man: "Victor has been terrific, working very hard.

"In his position, we have Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Andre Schurrle, and with Victor, we can change during a match and give new life to the team."

As such it seems that Chelsea may be keen to keep hold of Moses and it is certainly unlikely that Everton will be able to make them a financial offer they cannot refuse.

The Toffees are known to want to boost their attacking options and another potential signing could be Wigan’s Callum McManaman who is odds-on in places to move to Goodison Park but again Sky Bet offer the best price of 11/10.
