Moyes 16/1 to be next out of work

Manchester United manager David Moyes is now a best price of just 16/1 to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post after his team’s shock FA Cup third round exit at the hands of Swansea on Sunday afternoon.

The under-fire Scot watched Wilfried Bony snatch a last minute winner for the Welsh side at Old Trafford to heap yet more pressure on him and encourage the bookies to slash the odds on him being the next to go with Bet Victor now offering the best price of 16/1.

United can take their minds off the defeat quickly as they take on Sunderland in the League Cup semi-final first leg on Tuesday but if they fail to make it past the Black Cats and to a Wembley final then Moyes will be in even more trouble.

Despite the odds on the 50-year-old being the next to go being cut he is still far from the favourite in this market with Sam Allardyce and West Ham having an even worse weekend with a 5-0 defeat to Championship side Nottingham Forest. Big Sam is now just 2/5 with Coral to be the next Premier League manager out of a job and he knows he needs some big results to avoid the sack.

Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert had a similarly poor weekend as he saw his team lose at home to League One Sheffield United and he is 10/1 with Bet Victor to be the next  to be handed his P45.
