Pulis still favourite for both Wales and Palace jobs

Former Stoke boss Tony Pulis remains the favourite for both the Crystal Palace and Wales jobs concurrently although it is the job with the Premier League side that the bookmakers still expect him to land.

Pulis’ odds to become the next boss of the Eagles have drifted out from heavily odds-on to a best price of EVENS with Sky Bet but he nevertheless remains the clear favourite. Ironically the next in line in the betting is current Wales boss Chris Coleman who used to ply his trade as a player at Selhurst Park and is available at 4/1 with 888sport.

The future of Coleman as manager of his national team has been brought into question after a below-par World Cup qualification campaign and doubts over whether his contract will be renewed.

Pulis is now a best price of 15/8 with Bet Victor to be the next permanent Wales boss with his nearest competitor being the recently retired from the international scene, Craig Bellamy who is available at a best of 5/1 with the same bookmaker.

Clearly the 55-year-old cannot take up both roles and it certainly seems that the price on him joining the London club rather than his country is the better one.
