Quarter-finalists Chelsea 12/1 for Champions League

Chelsea eased into the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Tuesday night with a 2-0 victory over Galatasaray at Stamford Bridge and the 2012 winners are now a best price of 12/1 to lift the trophy again.

Jose Mourinho is bidding to become the first manager in history to win the European Cup/Champions League with three different clubs after wins with Porto and Inter. However, the bookies do not fancy his chances with Bet365 offering the fairly lengthy best price of 12/1.

The quarter-final line-up is yet to be completed and the subsequent draw will affect the odds but the favourites remain Bayern Munich as they have been throughout the tournament. Pep Guardiola’s side are aiming to become the first side to retain the Champions League and are expected to do so as they are a best price of just 2/1 with Ladbrokes.

The only two sides thought to have a chance of stopping them are the Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona. The former are available at 4/1 with Sky Bet and the latter at 17/4 with Bwin.
