Spurs odds-against to win any trophy

Tottenham further strengthened their credentials as favourites to win the Europa League on Thursday night with a win away at FC Sheriff Tiraspol but remain odds-against to lift any major trophy this season.

Spurs have looked good for the majority of the season so far and find themselves fifth in the Premier League, top of their Europa League group and into the last 16 of the Capital One Cup where they have the favourable draw of Hull at home.

Despite these strong performances across three competitions so far they remain a best price of 6/4 with Bet Victor to lift any trophy this season whilst the bookmakers make the men in white 1/2 to not get their hands on any silverware.

The Europa League does look as though it will be a good chance to pick up a title and Spurs are now a best price of 8/1 with Betway to become champions of Europe’s secondary competition. It does always have to be remembered though that Champions League sides will join the fray and are serious contenders when they do as Chelsea proved last year.

Spurs are second favourites for the Capital One Cup at a best price of 9/2 with Bet365 although with Manchester United and City, Chelsea and Arsenal all still involved it could prove the most competitive edition of the tournament in years.
