Suarez 1/7 for restrospective ban

Sky Bet are expecting Luis Suarez to face retrospective disciplinary action, making him odds-on to be banned by the FA after appearing to bite Branislav Ivanovic in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Chelsea.

The Uruguayan seemed to bite the Blues defender but the incident was missed by referee Kevin Friend, prompting the FA to confirm that they will investigate the incident.

Suarez went on the score a late leveller to deny the Blues victory, although they are still odds-on for a top four finish, sitting a point behind third-placed Arsenal with a game in hand.

Sky Bet’s Chris Spicer told Football Betting News: “It’s almost impossible to imagine Suarez not facing action for the latest in a long line of controversies.

”We opened up betting with the Liverpool striker 1/6 for an FA ban and, despite the short price, has still attracted plenty of money, prompting us to cut the price to 1/7.”
