Suarez hat-trick makes him Golden Boot favourite

Luis Suarez continued his excellent form since returning from suspension by scoring a hat-trick for Liverpool against West Brom on Saturday and he is now the clear favourite to win the Premier League Golden Boot as a result.

The Uruguayan has clearly not been adversely affected by the ten-game ban he received for biting Branislav Ivanovic last season as he has netted six times in  just four league games since coming back into the team and is now a best price of just 10/3 with Bet365 to outscore everyone else in the division.

There are two other players who have more league goals to their name thus far this season though, one of them being Suarez’s teammate Daniel Sturridge who leads the way in the scoring charts having netted eight times so far.

The England international may have been in sensational form since his move to Anfield in January but the bookies do not fancy his chances of keeping it up all season rating him at a best price of 7/1 with Coral to win the Golden Boot.

Sergio Aguero also made sure he has scored more than Suarez with his cracking strike against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday which took him to 7 for the season. The Argentinian is second favourite for the top scorer prize at a best of 5/1 with Boyle Sports.

Last season’s Golden Boot winner was of course Robin van Persie and he is in the hunt again after taking his tally for the season to five on Saturday with a goal against Stoke. He is yet to find his best form and could prove great value at 11/2 with Bet Victor to retain his title.
