Sweden 16/5 to make it past Portugal

Sweden host Portugal on Tuesday evening in the second leg of their World Cup qualifying play-off and are a surprisingly long best price of 16/5 to make it to Brazil next summer having only lost the away leg 1-0 in Lisbon.

The Swedes have lost just one contest at home during qualification, that coming against Germany, so they will see themselves of having every chance of beating the Portuguese and Bwin’s offer of 16/5 to qualify looks a very generous one.

Seven of the nine goals Portugal conceded during the group stage of qualification were away from home, so although they were a tough nut to crack in Lisbon, they may well be a different proposition in Stockholm.

Sweden captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic may have failed to fire in the first leg but he looks a very tempting best price of 8/5 with Sporting Bet to score anytime tonight with expectations firmly placed upon him.

The favourite in this marked though is Cristiano Ronaldo who is odds-on to score in some places but available at 11/8 with Bet365.
