United 34/1 for Champions League after drawing Bayern

Manchester United are now an enormous best price of 34/1 to win the Champions League after drawing the defending champions Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the competition.

David Moyes’ side have been handed the toughest possible draw in the last eight of the tournament and although some bookmakers are being slightly more generous to their chances of success, 888sport are happy to offer the giant 34/1 on them lifting the trophy.

United are at home in the first leg of the tie against Pep Guardiola’s side and even at a packed Old Trafford the Premier League champions are out at 5/1 with Betfred to win the match. Rarely, if ever, have the Red Devils been such a long price at home in any competition.

Chelsea, the other English team left the event, have drifted slightly in the betting to a best price of 14/1 with Bet Victor after being drawn against Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals. The bookies slightly favour the French champions as they are now a best of 12/1 with the same company.

Blues fans will not be too disappointed with the draw though and many will see the best price of EVENS, again with Bet Victor, to qualify for the semis as a very generous offer.

The other two ties see Real Madrid take on Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona face Atletico Madrid. Unsurprisingly it is Real and Barca who are favourites to progress with the former now available at 7/2 with Bet Victor for the tournament and the latter at 4/1 with Boyle Sports.
