United still lengthy 20/1 for Champions League

Manchester United may have booked their place in the knockout phase of the Champions League in style on Wednesday night but they remain the longest price of any of the four English teams involved to win the competition.

United battered German side Bayer Leverkusen 5-0 away from home to secure their place in the last 16 but they remain a distant best price of 20/1 with Bet Victor to get  their hands on the famous trophy this campaign leaving them behind their three Premier League rivals.

Both Chelsea and Manchester City have also secured passage into the first knockout phase and they are each available to win the competition at a best price of 16/1 with Paddy Power. Of the two, City have been the much more convincing in the group stage but Chelsea have the Champions League expertise of Jose Mourinho to call upon which is seen as a huge plus.

Arsenal are the only one of the four English sides not to have guaranteed their place in the next round but they are still available at a best price of 18/1 with Ladbrokes to win their first Champions League crown.

The favourites remain Bayern Munich after making more history on Wednesday by winning their 10th game in a row in the competition. Pep Guardiola’s men do look an irresistible force at the moment and are a best price of just 5/2 with Betfred to become the first team to retain the Champions League.
