United still odds-on to make top four

Despite Manchester United’s poor and inconsistent form in the Premier League, David Moyes is expected to turn the club around to some extent as they remain odds-on to make the Champions League places come the end of the season.

The Red Devils sit in eighth place after their home draw with Southampton, eight points behind league leaders Arsenal and five adrift of fourth placed Manchester City. Things do not look good for them at the moment but they are nevertheless a short best price of 8/13 with Bet365 to finish in the top four.

Arsenal, Chelsea and City currently occupy three of the top four places and they are all also odds-on to finish there meaning the value could well be with either Liverpool or Tottenham when it comes to claiming a Champions League place.

Liverpool are currently in third place, two points off the top of the table but remain a best price of 13/10 with Boyle Sports to end up in the top four.

Spurs, who sit in fifth place, one point behind the men from Anfield, are available at the same price of 13/10 with Ladbrokes to make a return to the Champions League this season.

In terms of winning the Premier League Manchester United are now available at a huge best price of 10/1 with Bwin although not even the most ardent of supporters will be rushing to back those odds on current form.
