Upbeat Jones hopes to kick on

Manchester United youngster Phil Jones is unconcerned about who Sir Alex Ferguson's side may meet in the last 16 of the Champions League.

United, 10/1 with bet365 to win this season's Champions League, have already qualified for the knockout stages as group winners. Ferguson will again field an under-strength side for the final group match against Cluj, with one eye on Sunday's Manchester derby clash against deadly rivals City at the Etihad Stadium, a game United are 21/10 to win.

One of the drawbacks for United is they could face a strong opponent in the last-16 draw, with Real Madrid, AC Milan, Juventus and Paris Saint Germain all presently runners-up in their respective Champions League groups. But Jones insists: "The lads have played some terrific stuff in the Champions League games. Hopefully, we can kick on and go as far as we can.

"There are no bad teams in the Champions League. It doesn't matter who you get, it's always going to be a difficult game, home and away."
