Arsenal 11/10 to finish above Spurs

The Gunners are now a 1/3 chance to secure a top-four finish

Arsenal have been cut to 11/10 to finish the Premier League season as London’s top club after a last gasp Thomas Vermaelen strike closed the gap between the Gunners and Tottenham to just one point.

Arsene Wenger’s side came from behind to pick up all three points for the fourth straight Premier League game as Robin van Persie cancelled out Hatem Ben Arfa’s opener in the first half. Further capitalising on Spurs’ recent slump in form that has seen the Lilywhites lose three on the bounce.

“Tottenham have got to be watching over their shoulders now,” said Theo Walcott.

“With the squad of players we've got - and we've got a lot of players coming back to fitness now - we believe that we can go much further.

“It's been an up and down season, but it's the way you finish, and that's the most important thing.”

Harry Redknapp’s side still remains the slight favourites, at odds of 10/11 with Stan James, to finish as the capital’s top club, with Chelsea the outsiders of the trio at 7/1.

The Gunners are now a 1/3 chance to secure a top-four finish, with Tottenham at odds of 1/4 and Chelsea out to 5/4.
