Chelsea 6/4 to sign Hazard
Chelsea have been made the 6/4 favourites to sign Eden Hazard this January following reports from the Daily Mail suggesting that the Blues are preparing a bid for the Belgian midfielder.
The newspaper believes that the Stamford Bridge club are ready to make a bid of around £25 million for the Lile playmaker after it emerged that Real Madrid were about to make a move for the 21-year-old and that Manchester United were also monitoring the situation. They also suggest that Hazard has provisionally agreed terms to move to Stamford Bridge.
“Sky Bet odds for Eden Hazard to complete a move to Chelsea have been cut from 4/1 to 6/4,” reported the bookmaker on their Twitter feed earlier today.
In the same market Manchester City are made the 8/1 second-favourites, followed by Manchester United at odds of 10/1 and Arsenal at 11/1.
Real Madrid are out at 16/1, implying that the Spanish giants’ reported interest may not be as accurate, or imminent, as suggested.
Stan James also make Chelsea the short priced favourites to sign Hazard at odds of 7/4, but they make United the 8/1 second-favourites and offer 10/1 for a move to City.
