Cole to end Career at Chelsea

Cole has been constantly linked with a move away from Chelsea to go and play for former manager Jose Mourinho

Chelsea and England left back Ashley Cole has revealed that he wants to see out the rest of his career in West London.

Cole has been constantly linked with a move away from Chelsea to go and play for former manager Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid. However, he has ended speculation over the rest of his career.

“We hope to win something in the new season. I want to end my playing career with Chelsea,” said Cole.

“There are still many more years of football in me and I want to be part of Chelsea as this is the club that can pose a threat to all the big names in the game at all levels. We have a young manager who is somewhat on the same wavelength with the players. This is wonderful to the team.”

Cole was part of the Chelsea defence last season which had the equal best defensive record along with Manchester City with only 33 goals conceded.

Cole will only strengthen Chelsea's 11/4 chances of winning the title.
