Coral offer enhanced 1/4 on Reds glory

The Reds are now a best price of 1/4 at an enhanced price with Coral

Craig Bellamy’s 74th minute equaliser secured Liverpool an aggregate lead in their Carling Cup semi-final tie with Manchester City, and ensured the Reds remained on course for their first piece of silverware since Kenny Dalglish resumed control of the Anfield dugout.

The Reds are now a best price of 1/4 to lift the Carling Cup trophy at an enhanced price with Coral, until 3pm today (Thursday). Most other firms go 1/6 on Liverpool emerging victorious from the final, with some going as short as 1/7.

The result came on the back of a disappointing run of form in the league that had culminated with a 3-1 loss at Bolton last time out. Dalglish dedicated the Wembley final reward to the club’s supporters.

“It's not been the best times and it's a fantastic reward for the supporters that have stood by us,” said the Liverpool boss.

“And it's a fantastic reward for the new owners, it's their first final. For everybody connected with the club, it's a great reward.”

Liverpool are priced at odds of 1/3, by Sportingbet, to win the final in the 90 minutes, with Cardiff at odds of 7/1 and the draw, which would force extra-time, quoted at 7/2.
