David Beckham Transfer Betting Odds

Tottenham are second favourites at 7/2

David Beckham has been linked with a return to England ever since joining LA Galaxy back in 2007. But now that his contract is due to expire in the MLS a return to his homeland is a genuine option for old Golden Balls.

Queens Park Rangers supremo Tony Fernandes was the first to declare his interest in the 36-year-old, stating on Twitter: “I think having someone like David in the club would be great. Was always in my thoughts. Lets see.”

Now Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has also thrown his hat into the ring.

“If David wants to come to Tottenham I'd welcome him with open arms,” said Redknapp in The Sun.

“He's definitely still good enough to play in the Premier League. His game was never about pace so whether he's quick or not isn't an issue.”

“He wouldn't be able to play until the January transfer window opens, though, because we've already lodged our 25 players with the Premier League. But he'd be a great one to have around the club again.”

Sky Bet have made QPR the favourites in the David Beckham transfer betting market at odds of 6/4. Tottenham are second favourites at 7/2 while a move across America to the New York Red Bulls where he would link up with Thierry Henry is priced at 4/1.
