Frank Ribery Transfer Betting

It is currently 2/7 that he stays in Munich

Reports in this morning’s papers are suggesting that Chelsea could turn their attentions to Bayern Munich’s France international Frank Ribery after failing to land Luka Modric.

The Blues have made no secret of their desire to sign Modric this summer but Tottenham’s tough stance over their Croatian playmaker has led the Stamford Bridge club to turn their attentions elsewhere.

Reports in The Sun suggest that Chelsea would need to pay £36 million to prize him away from Munich after the Germans paid £22 million for him four years ago. The 28-year-old is the highest paid player in Germany earning a reported £180,000 per week, although that is unlikely to deter the Blues.

Bookmaker Sky Bet have opened a market on whether Ribery will leave the Allianz Arena today. It is currently 2/7 that he stays in Munich with betting odds of 5/2 available on him leaving the club.
