Goals aplenty in Christmas cracker

if they don't lose this game then they will go into Christmas in the top half of the table

Tuesday evening sees Wolves entertain Norwich in a game rather overshadowed by the night’s other game at Ewood Park. Mick McCarthy’s side are on a slide, having tasted defeat in four out of their last five games including Saturday’s loss at home to Stoke where they held a half-time lead. As far as Paul Lambert is concerned, his side have taken to the league like ducks to water and they come into this one following a battling point at Everton on Saturday.

Both sides will see this as a good opportunity to go into the crammed festive period with a victory and I see this being quite a Christmas cracker. Norwich know that, in all probability, if they don’t lose this game then they will go into Christmas in the top half of the table which is something that would have shocked many people had they been told so at the start of the season.

Taking into account Norwich’s desire to attack, the match result is quite a hard one to work out on this occasion so the bets have to be in the ‘both teams to score’ market. For this to happen, 4/6 is available with Ladbrokes along with other companies. As well, over 2.5 goals looks a juicy 4/5 with Coral.

After being one of my bets on Saturday, Grant Holt may well come to the Canaries’ rescue once again and he is available at 9/4 with Stan James. Wolves need a result, and the man who is most likely to help them on their way will be Steven Fletcher, who scored in their last win against Sunderland, and Paddy Power have him at 7/4, which could reap some well-worth rewards.

Recommended Bet:

Both teams to score @ 4/6 with Ladbrokes

Over 2.5 goals @ 4/5 with Coral
