Milan make Tevez move

Milan now lead Sky Bet's Carlos Tevez January transfer betting

AC Milan are understood to have opened talks with Carlos Tevez’s representatives regarding a possible January move for the exiled Manchester City striker.

BBC sport reported that Tevez’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, had met with AC Milan officials on Thursday, but also that Inter Milan and Juventus were keen to sign the 27-year-old.

Tevez failed to return to Manchester City training as required earlier this month, and was instead photographed in Buenos Aires airport. The Argentine had previously been fined four weeks wages – later reduced to two – having been found guilty of five breaches of his contract by an internal club investigation.

AC Milan now lead Sky Bet’s Carlos Tevez January transfer betting market at odds of 10/11. Inter Milan are 3/1 while Juventus remain at 8/1.

City are not expected to be willing to allow Tevez to leave on the cheap this winter, hence the reason that The Old Lady remain long odds to sign the player despite reported interest.

Real Madrid are the 7/2 third-favourites, but their must be questions about whether or not Jose Mourinho would risk his squad’s harmony by bringing Tevez to the club. Big spending Anzhi Makhachkla are quoted at odds of 11/2.
