Milan odds-on to sign Tevez

AC Milan are now as short as 1/3 with bookmaker Sky Bet to sign exiled Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

The Italian giants are understood to be tabling a deal that would see the Argentine move to the San Siro on loan initially with a view to a permanent move being completed in the summer.

However, Sky Sports News are today reporting that neighbours Inter are considering entering the race to sign the player and suggest that the club are “due to send a delegation to England in the next 48 hours to meet with City counterparts.”

As a result Sky Bet make the Nerazzuri a 2/1 chance to sign Tevez this January. Others quoted in the betting include Juventus at odds of 9/1, Boca Juniors at 8/1 and PSG at 12/1.

Should Roberto Mancini manage to offload Tevez then it has been suggested that the Citizens will bring in Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi in an attempt to plug the gap left by Yaya Toure’s involvement in the African Cup of Nations.
