Moyes confesses Everton could sell

Moyes has already conceded that he will not be able to add any players

David Moyes has confessed that Everton could be forced to sell their best players if a club comes in with a bid that is too big to turn down.

Arsenal have been strongly linked with Toffees trio Mikel Arteta, Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines this summer and the Everton gaffer has admitted that the club’s financial position could mean that they have to sell any players they receive large offers for.

“I think it's already been said that the money, depending on the value, would go to the bank,” Moyes told the Liverpool Echo.

“Everybody's got a price - Fabregas, Ronaldo, you name it. If anyone bids big enough I'm sure we'd take it. I'm not daft.”

Arsenal are currently priced at 6/1 by Sky Bet in their Leighton Baines transfer betting market, with Man City as the 11/4 favourites.

Moyes has already conceded that he will not be able to add any players to his squad this season.

“I said to the players on the first day of pre-season, 'It's going to be just us this season,” he added.

“They are aware of that but when the window shuts you've got what you've got.”
