Next Blackburn Manager Betting

Mark Hughes currently heads the betting markets

With the pressure mounting on Steve Kean at Blackburn the bookmakers are sharpening their pencils in preparation for the first next manager market of the new Premier League season.

Supporters are planning a peaceful protest prior to this weekend’s game against Arsenal and anything other than a victory – 7/2 with Bet365 – is likely to increase the pressure on the under-fire Scot.

Former manager Mark Hughes currently heads the betting markets with Victor Chandler offering odds of 13/8 on the Welshman returning to the Ewood Park hot seat.

Former Liverpool and Inter Milan manager Rafa Benitez is the 9/4 second-favourite and the only other potential candidate at single figure odds.

Others quoted in the next Blackburn manager betting markets include the currently unemployed Martin O’Neill at odds of 10/1, former Blackburn striker Alan Shearer at 12/1, current Norwich manager Paul Lambert at 16/1 and former Real Madrid manager Bernd Schuster also at odds of 16/1.

With just one point from their opening four Premier League games Blackburn are currently priced at 11/10 to be relegated, 9/2 to finish bottom and Kean is the 4/6 favourite to become the next top flight manager to lose his job.
