Norwich v Arsenal: Lunchtime Cracker at Carrow Road

this game has goals written all over it

The Saturday lunchtime game brings together two of the most entertaining teams in the Premier league so far this season, with Norwich meeting Arsenal in a contest which promises goals.

It is going very much to plan for Paul Lambert in their return to the top flight, having steered them to mid-table security with over a quarter of the season played. The Canaries have paved their way to that position by playing easy-on-the-eye passing football. After their 11 games, they have failed to keep a clean sheet showing their intent on attacking the opposition.

Coming to visit is an Arsenal side that has completely reversed their fortunes from a couple of months ago. It has seen them move from the depths of the relegation zone to seventh place and only three points off Chelsea in fourth place. Quite a turnaround from the 8-2 mauling at the hands of Manchester United at Old Trafford.

I think this game has goals written all over it and there are some excellent opportunities to be taken advantage of in certain markets. The game could easily have four or five goals in it; especially with the way both teams play the game. I do feel that Arsenal could pick the home side off with one of the form men in the league, Robin van Persie, waiting to pounce on any frailties shown by the Norwich defence. For van Persie to score first, he is 4/1 with Betfred and for him to score anytime he is 11/10 with the same company. I can see Arsenal initially struggling but will come good in the second half and a 1-3 scoreline could appeal at 13/1 with Unibet.

Recommended Bets:

Robin van Persie to score anytime @ 11/10 with Betfred

Over 3.5 goals @ 6/4 with Paddy Power
