Owners to discuss Blackburn future

"I have spoken with Steve and we are working on our weak points"

Blackburn Rovers co-owner Venkatesh Rao has said that he and manager Steve Kean are going to have a “very big discussion” regarding the club’s future plans.

Rovers’ poor start to the season – four points from seven games – has resulted in prearranged fan protests against the manger and audible disdain towards him from the terraces.

“I have spoken with Steve and we are working on our weak points,” Rao told Sky Sports News. “We are going to sit this weekend and we are going to have a very big discussion over this.”

“I'm sure we are going into the depth of it and believe me, myself, my (fellow co-owners) sister and my brother, all of us are going to sit and have a long, long chat and come out with some plan of action.”

Rovers return to action following the international break with a trip to Loftus Road to take on QPR where they are made the 7/2 outsiders to pick up all three points.

Ladbrokes currently make Kean the 8/11 betting favourite to become the first Premier League managerial casualty of the season.
