PSG Make Taarabt Bid

The bookmakers are offering odds of 5/4 that the 22-year-old moves to Paris

Paris St Germain are understood to have tabled a bid in the region of £13.5 million for Queens Park Rangers midfielder Adel Taarabt.

The Moroccan international is thought to be unhappy at Loftus Road having not been offered an improved contract with the newly promoted club.

“I helped QPR win promotion but they will not offer me a better contract. They say I am already on big wages,” said Taarabt last month.

“I understand that QPR have changed my life. People had almost forgotten me when I joined from Tottenham. But I don’t think they are being fair to me.”

Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle have all been linked with moves for the player already this summer but PSG are thought to be the first to make a formal approach.

The bookmakers are offering odds of 4/9 that the 22-year-old moves to Paris should he leave QPR this summer. It is 10/1 that he goes to Newcastle and 12/1 for a move to Arsenal or Chelsea.
