Rovers fans plan protest

4/11 that Kean won't last the season

Supporters of Blackburn Rovers Football Club are planning a protest against manager Steve Kean this coming Saturday.

Rovers have recorded just one point from their opening four Premier League games and are currently bottom of the table. A run of results that had first seen fans send a collective letter to owners Venky’s asking for the manager to be sacked and has now led to a mass protest scheduled for the morning of this weekend’s game against Arsenal.

“Kean out protest now confirmed,11.30am this Saturday. Will start at Havelock Inn,” said Northern_Rover, a Blackburn fan on Twitter.

Sky Bet make Kean the 5/6 favourite to be the next Premier League manager to lose his job while Victor Chandler offer betting odds of just 4/11 that the Scot won’t be in charge at Ewood Park on the final day of the season.

Former manager Mark Hughes is made the 13/8 favourite to succeed Kean in the next Blackburn manager betting, closely followed by Rafael Benitez at 9/4 then Martin O’Neill at 10/1.
