Suarez and Evra 10/3 to not shake hands

Hills have been forced to slash those odds into 1/5

William Hill offer odds of 10/3 that Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra do not shake hands when Manchester United host Liverpool this Saturday lunchtime.

Having opened with odds of 8/13 that the pair do not cordially greet one another Hills have been forced to slash those odds into 1/5 in the past few days.

“Assuming the FA does not decide to ban the pre-match handshake, we think the two will fail to sake hands,” said Hills Spokesperson Graham Sharpe earlier in the week.

Paddy Power also offer betting on who will be the first player to foul Suarez, and make Rafael their 4/1 favourite. Antonio Valencia is the 5/1 second-favourite with Evra joined by Chris Smalling and Paul Scholes at odds of 6/1. Wayne Rooney is quoted at an appealing 18/1.

Dirk Kuyt is made the 7/2 favourite to be the first Liverpool player to foul Evra, Jordan Henderson is 4/1 and both Glen Johnson and Martin Kelly are at odds of 9/2.

The Irish bookmaker also quote 9/1 that Evra is booked for a foul on Suarez and 50/1 that he is sent off for a foul on the Uruguayan. It is 12/1 for Suarez to be cautioned, and 66/1 that he is given his marching orders, for a foul on the Frenchman.
