Terry odds-on to foul Ferdinand first
Bookmaker Ladbrokes have priced John Terry at odds of 8/11 to foul Anton Ferdinand, before the QPR defender fouls him, when Chelsea go to Loftus Road this weekend.
The bookmaker is offering a series of specials for incidents involving the two defenders and offers a price of 6/1 that they swap shirts at the end of the match. It is 1/2 that either player receives a booking in the match, and 8/1 that either is shown a red card.
Ferdinand is Evens to foul the England captain first and Terry is 33/1 to score an own goal in the match.
“The odds suggest the game will be a feisty affair. Punters have already got stuck into QPR for the upset so we've even more reason to cheer on Chelsea in the hope that Terry also keeps his nose clean,” said Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes.
Rangers are a 5/1 chance to win the Saturday midday kick-off, with Chelsea at odds of 8/13 and 13/5 available on the match ending in a draw that would see the tie go to a replay.
When the sides met at Loftus Road earlier in the season a Heidur Helguson penalty separated the two sides as two red cards saw the visitors play more than half the match with nine men. A repeat scoreline is available to back at 8/1 while the Icelandic striker is also 8/1 to open the scoring this time around.
